The Berry family has a lot of sorrow to deal with, including a dog named Sorrow. Win (Beau Bridges) and Mother Berry (Lisa Banes) are the parents of John (Rob Lowe), who loves his sister Frannie (Jodie Foster) too much, while their brother Frank (Paul McCrane) deals with being gay. They also have a sister named Lilly (Jennifer Dundas) who stopped growing and remained little, and there is also a boy named Egg (Seth Green). Grandfather Iowa Bob (Wilford Brimley) is with the family too. They run a hotel. Susie the Bear (Nastassja Kinski) wears a bear suit and has a relationship with some of the Berrys, while Frannie undergoes a trauma with a young man, Chip Dove (Matthew Modine), whom she likes, and Win is injured. |
