This ensemble comedy finds a hilarious chase to find the mysterious three hundred and fifty Gs to be found in Sant Rosita under the big W. 'Smiler' Grogan (Jimmy Durante) crashes and with his dying breath talks about the three hundred and fifty G that is hidden, four men who happen by the scene of the crash hear his words and the chase is on. There are so many comic characters in this great chase that it is hard to make a list but J. Russell Finch (Milton Berle) the seaweed company owner, Lennie Pike (Jonathan Winters) the truck driver, and Benjy Benjamin (Buddy Hackett) and Dingy Bell (Mickey Rooney) the comedy writing duo are the ones to begin the chase. They are soon joined by, among others: Ethel Merman (as Finch's controlling mother-in-law), Edie Adams (Finch's wife), Sid Caesar (Melville Crump), and Phil Silvers (Otto Meyer). It is a race between these people, and the police of course, headed by Captain Culpepper (Spencer Tracy), to see who will get the money.
