James Bond (Sean Connery) is stabbed to death by a kidnapped girl with Stockholm Syndrome but it is all a training exercise and Bond is not really dead just out of shape. Sent to a spa by a disapproving M (Edward Fox) to get his edge back Bond meets the beautiful Fatima Blush (Barbara Carrera) posing as a nurse to American Air Force pilot Jack Petachi (Gavan O'Herlihy). All is not as it seems for the pair are working for SPECTRE and Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Max von Sydow). Petachi has had a retinal transplant so he can infiltrate American security to arm and steal two nuclear missiles which Blofeld plans to use to extort billions of dollars from world governments. Assigned to find the missiles Bond interviews Domino Petachi (Kim Basinger), the pilot’s sister, on the incredible yacht of her lover Maximillian Largo (Klaus Maria Brandauer) who also works for SPECTRE. The investigation leads Bond to the Bahamas where Domino and Fatima vie for his attention and he attempts to unravel and foil Largo and Blofeld’s fiendish plans.
