Lieutenant Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) of the L. A. police department unexpectedly starts to find drug kingpins murdered in a gruesome fashion by an unknown, unearthly force. His bosses try to get him to leave the matter alone, but when his own people begin to join the victims, he becomes determined to get to the bottom of these deaths. He soon finds out that the murders are the work of of an alien predator (Kevin Peter Hall) who kills for sport. To stop these murders, Harrigan must match wits with a being with superior strength, technology and weaponry... and risk becoming another trophy on its wall.
