Dana Brown (self) has lived and played in the ocean his entire life. As the son of a famous surfer, he too, has embraced the waves to become a world respected authority on the sport. During his movie, he travels the globe interviewing a variety of people who have made surfing an integral part of their being. From traditional spots such as Hawaii and California’s coast, Brown talks to people to determine the hold surfing has on these individuals. He also takes on less traditional and known surfing spots such as Ireland, Easter island and believe it or not Lake Michigan. Brown talks to those who live and breathe surfing as well as those who enjoy the sport on a more causal basis.
