Avery Chasten (Henry Thomas) is a spoiled yet confused young man in a bind. When his sister is kidnapped and his family put under the gun, he must come up with two million dollars to pay the ransom. He devises a dangerous plan to kidnap ex-mob boss Carlo Bartolucci (Christopher Walken) and gets his other rich friends to assist in the plan. What appears to be a flawless plan turns into a nightmare when Bartolucci refuses to pay up, and instead gets his tough henchman involved. It's one long night of twists and turns as the young men realize they have just gotten themselves into a situation that could leave one or more of them dead.
