Super Size Me is a documentary about the fast food industry. Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock documents his 30 day marathon of eating only fast food from various McDonald's restaurants. He follows three simples rules - he must try everything on the McDonald's menu at least once, he would "supersize" his choices only if offered, and he would eat nothing but what was available at McDonalds. Throughout his fast-food marathon, we see Spurlock being examined by his doctors, and see the effects of this diet on his body. Spurlock takes on the fast food industry throughout the film. For example, we see him going from restaurant to restaurant asking for nutrituional information that is supposed to be openly posted, and he drops hamburger and french fries into glass jars and films how they degrade into mold after being left out for a month.
