Nick Charles (William Powell) and his wife Nora (Myrna Loy) find themselves embroiled in the world of horse racing and gambling when a jockey is killed at a local race track. With the help of reporter Paul Clarke (Barry Nelson), receptionist for racketeer 'Link' Stephens (Loring Smith) Molly (Donna Reed) and their old friend Lieutenant Abrams (Sam Levene), the duo works to solve the case and smash the gambling ring interfering with races. |
