With a snap of his fingers, Gomez and Fester Addams return for this remake of both creepy humor and estrange family values. The Adams Family begins with Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd) missing from the Adams Clan. Gomez (Raul Julia) who is joined by his loving family of Morticia Addams (Anjelica Huston), Wednesday Addams (Christina Ricci), Pugsley Addams (Jimmy Workman), Grandma (Judith Malina), the quiet butler; Lurch (Carel Struycken) and of course, Thing (Christopher Hart) have tried for 25 years to find him via any supernatural means necessary. Gomez is torn apart by the fact the last time he ever saw his brother they fought and parted ways. For all this time he has been torn apart by guilt until one stormy night, Uncle Fester returns. Lost in the Bermuda Triangle and plagued with amnesia, Fester comes home with his personal physician, Doctor Greta Pinder-Schloss (Elizabeth Wilson). With the Addams Clan all celebrating the return of the long lost Uncle Fester not far off in the distance con artists are planning on robbing Gomez of his family fortune. And when Fester’s doctor claims Uncle Fester needs to be separated from his brother, the Addam’s family attorney, Tully Alford (Dan Hedaya) turns on the family and helps Uncle Fester take sole control. Now it’s up to Morticia to hold the family together and get to the bottom of who is who in this mystery of who is who.
