Ingredients:
1 cup golden brown sugar, firm packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup salad oil
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp each salt, nutmeg, cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup water

Method:
Combine sugars, pumpkin, oil and eggs; beat until well blended.
Sift together flour, baking soda and spices; blend well into first mixture.
Spoon into well oiled 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 65 to 75 minutes, or until done when tested.
Turn out on rack to cool.
