When Bickford Shmeckler (Patrick Fugit) goes off to college, he finds himself housed with many co-eds who believe that college is for partying. But Bickford is a genius and he ignores the parties and concentrates on writing his secrets in a steel-covered notebook. These writings are a collection of his thoughts and discoveries as he experiences life on campus. One day, a sexy blonde steals his book. Sarah (Olivia Wilde) teases him by giving clues that he must decipher in order to find his precious notebook. As he hunts for the book, a relationship emerges between the geeky Bickford and the beautiful Sarah. This might be the romance between the beauty and the geek but will they live happily ever after? |
